This 8671HS tape from 3M is specifically designed for outdoor use so that it stays attached throughout all weather and remains totally clear and resistant to yellowing.
The high shear strength (HS) capability of this product was formulated to give better erosion resistance and better performance at high temperatures (such as those caused by aerodynamic heating), while providing better peel strength and shock resistance at very low temperatures.
A thick (0.36mm) protective polyurethane film with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The tape is totally clear (after removal of the white easy-release paper liner) and will virtually disappear on application. Perfect for protecting wear areas on your bike such as around the chainstay and under cables.
This is the highest quality exterior grade tape available and is a simple way of protecting precious surfaces from corrosion, abrasion & minor impacts. Beware of cheaper versions that are for indoor use or not as transparent.
